My name is Tatum Barnes! Softball has always been more than just a sport to me, it’s something that has shaped my mindset, work ethic, and character. I love competing and pushing myself to improve every single day, whether that’s during practice, training, or in games. I know success comes from the work you put in when nobody is watching, and I take pride in staying disciplined, focused, and committed to getting better.
I am a pitcher and shortstop, and I enjoy being involved in every part of the game. I’m always willing to do whatever helps my team succeed and bring a positive attitude wherever I’m needed. I enjoy learning from my coaches, being challenged, and growing from both successes and mistakes. I want to be the type of teammate people can trust to work hard, stay supportive, and compete with confidence.
One of my biggest goals is to continue my softball career at the college level while earning a degree and preparing for my future. I want to be part of a program that values teamwork, accountability, and dedication on and off the field. Along with athletics, I care a lot about academics and representing myself, my family, and my team in a positive way.
Outside of softball, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active, and continuing to grow as a person. I’m excited for every opportunity to learn, compete, and take my game to the next level.
