About Tinsley
Hi, I'm Tinsley Starrett, a Class of 2029 soccer player who is passionate about competing, learning, and improving every single day. I play as the center defensive mid as well as float around into positions such as center-back and attacking positions for Nixa High School as well as my club team. I pride myself on my ability to be coachable, hardworking, a supportive teammate, and a leader amongst my team.
My strengths include vision and decision making, defending abilities, and my speed. I also have put work in to be able to have a high soccer IQ as well as a strong work rate, allowing me to be involved in all areas of the field and consistently help create chances in the attack. I enjoy the challenge of competing at a high level and am always looking for ways to develop my skills and overall game.
Off the field, I strive to represent my team with a positive attitude, strong character, and dedication in the classroom. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and take the highest classes available for my grade. My goal is to continue to grow as a player and person while preparing for the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level. I am searching for a college program that competes at a high level, continues my growth as both a player and a person, and fosters a family-like culture where teammates support one another on and off the field. My goal is to make a positive impact wherever I play while continuing to develop on and off the field.
