About TRISTAN

My name is Tristan. My family and friends call me T. Since I was a small kid, I have been chasing one big goal: becoming a professional soccer player. I began playing competitively at the age of six, and I’ve dedicated myself to the sport ever since. Now, at 17, with the mental toughness and resilience I’ve built over the years, I believe I have what it takes to earn a scholarship from a D1 team - my biggest hope and objective.

Having been coached by some of the best and being blessed with natural talent and skills, I feel I can be a strong asset to any team. But I also know that I need more than just soccer in my life. Academics matter greatly to me, which is why a soccer scholarship would be the perfect opportunity to balance high-level play with a quality education.
I am well-traveled and cultured, having grown up exploring different countries, especially through my various soccer teams. I am a good teammate because I understand and value the different strengths that various backgrounds bring to a locker room, something I appreciate deeply as the son of Caribbean parents. That is how I believe unity is built.

I also see myself as a leader - someone who steps up rather than follows. Challenges motivate me. In my opinion, there is no greater feeling in this world than proving somebody wrong. The word "Can't" is banished from my vocabulary when its comes to football. Which is why I envision myself one day wearing a captain’s armband for my college team. I’m looking for a coach and a program that trusts me and pushes me to deliver my absolute best. My biggest drive is making my family proud. Above all, I aspire to become a man who makes a positive difference in the world, one way or another.
