About Tynleigh

From the time I fielded my first ground ball at age five while playing with my mom, I fell in love with softball. Since then, the game has shaped me through the daily work I put in and the standards I hold myself to, even when no one is watching. As a middle infielder and utility player, l've learned to be adaptable, dependable, and ready to help my team in whatever role is needed. Softball has pushed me to work through failure, stay disciplined in my preparation, and keep improving even when growth feels uncomfortable.
On the field, my strengths include an elite glove, a quick release, and a strong understanding of the game. Offensively, I take pride in being a slapper who can execute situationally and put pressure on the defense. Playing at a high level has taught me to set high expectations for myself, stay consistent in my work ethic, and focus on doing my job for the benefit of the team.
Leadership has been an area where I've grown a lot this past year. I've always tried to lead by example through effort, integrity, and preparation, but I challenged myself to step outside my comfort zone by becoming more vocal both on and off the field. Speaking up on defense and supporting my teammates during pressure moments has helped me grow in confidence and become a stronger presence on the field.
That same discipline shows up in the classroom, where rank among the top students in my class while competing as a multi-sport athlete. Balancing school and athletics has helped me develop strong time-management skills, stay focused, and commit fully to everything I take on.
As I work toward the opportunity to play softball at the collegiate level, my goal is to keep growing as a player, leader, and person. I want to be part of a program that values hard work, integrity, and team culture, and I'm motivated every day to earn my role, support my teammates, and keep raising my standards. Softball means more to me than just competition-it's a way to challenge myself, lift up those around me, and become the best version of myself. I believe in giving max effort in everything do!
