About Lukas
My name is Lukas Martinez. I am 15 years old, and I currently play left back with an MLS NEXT 2 team. My goal is to play Division 1 soccer in college while also pursuing a strong academic career. I am committed to competing at the highest level, and I see college soccer as the next step toward growing as both a player and a person.
As a left back, I bring speed, discipline and vision to the game. I take pride in shutting down attackers, supporting the attack on the wings, and playing with intelligence and composure under pressure. Coaches often describe me as a hardworking and coachable player who always puts the team first.
What sets me apart from other recruits is not only my athletic ability but also my character and dedication. I am disciplined in training, respectful on and off the field, and I strive to be a leader through my effort and attitude. Academically, I am focused and driven, and I believe the habits I’ve built in the classroom carry over to my success on the field.
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a collegiate program where I can compete, learn, and grow while representing my team and university with pride.
